Jasmin Airways launched as new Tunisian airline

Jasmin Airways (JAW) has obtained its AOC (Air Operators Certificate) from the Tunisian Ministry of Transport.

The carrier, based in Enfidha could commence operations using a pair of Embraer E170LRs, TS-IJA (Amen) and TS-IJB (Narcisse), having a capacity of 76 seats each, on its planned charter flights.

Jasmin Airways is planning to launch its international charter services from its first base Enfidha Hammamet International NBE and Djerba Zarzis International DJE, as a second operational base, with short-haul charter flights to Europe and Maghreb, as well as offering ACMI services (leasing of aircraft with crews over given periods) in other markets .

However, it will operate on all Tunisian international airports and encourage its partners to also schedule destinations such as Tabarka TBJ and Tozeur TOE , local media reported.
